On April 15th 2019, Ray stepped through the doors at UCLA medical center to undergo a major life saving surgery to remove an apricot sized mass located in his tongue and base of mouth. Once successfully removed, these amazing doctors rebuilt his tongue from a section of his forearm. There were also a few more procedures that went along with this but I won’t get into detail. Ray rocked this 11 hour surgery and recovered amazingly! When he was all healed up, he then had to do 30 rounds of Radiation over a 6 week period of time to insure that any remaining cancer cells were eliminated!  This year will be his 5 year anniversary of being CANCER FREE!!!!!! So let’s all get together, and walk for Ray and the countless others who are diagnosed with this awful disease. All the money raised, will go to head and neck cancer research to save more people just like our Ray!!!
